Individual Therapy

I use 3-4 initial assessment sessions  before we make any decisions  regarding therapy.  You will then be given a regular appointment or appointments - if we find it advantageous with e.g. twice a week. This is an intensive therapy and a very good way to work. Usually I would not recommend less than once a week.

I work with both long- and short term therapy. This will depend on what it is you want help with, and what you want to achieve.

Couples Therapy or Counseling

Most couples, whether living together or separately, will experience periods of strain, irritation, disappointment, resentment or boredom. If the issues that spark these feelings are not addressed, alienation and a breakdown of communication can result- sometimes leading to one or both parties seeking emotional and/or sexual gratification outside the relationship.  It is very advantageous to start before things have become too cemented.

The frequency can be weekly, every two weeks or less, depending on the situation. In my experience it is beneficial to have double sessions, to give each party enough time. Click to read more.

As psychologist and psychotherapist I also offer coaching. Sometimes it can be of great help just to talk to a neutral person, to find a new perspective and get you from where you are now - to where you want to be. Hypnosis is not a miracle cure. I would say that hypnosis can strengthen our deeper and more unconscious motivation for change. I would always want to have an initial assessment session with you before doing hypnosis. Not everyone can be hypnotized easily. Some need a bit of practice.  Many people can benefit from hypnosis in regards to e.g. smoking, mild forms of overeating, stress reduction, problems falling asleep e.t.c.
